We are sharing this exciting opportunity for your high school student to participate in the GW Fun Fest 4HLF! This fun-filled event, organized to support the vital work of the Halton Learning Foundation, is taking place on Wednesday, May 28 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
The Halton Learning Foundation plays a crucial role in our community by providing support and resources to students facing financial barriers, ensuring they have the opportunity to succeed in their education. This includes things like providing nutritious meals, funding essential school supplies, and supporting participation in extracurricular activities.
To participate in the GW Fun Fest, we are asking students to raise a minimum of $10 per individual or $50 per team of 4-6 students in support of the Halton Learning Foundation. This is a fantastic way for your student to contribute to a meaningful cause while enjoying a day of fun activities. Students: click here for more information on what we have planned for the fun filled day.
Thank you for your continued support of your student's education and our community.
Students, please pick up your permission form from the main office ASAP.
This form is required for all students participating on an athletic team at Garth Webb in the 2024-2025 year.

Co-op in the HDSB
Garth Webb SS students David, Tyler and Matthew are gaining hands-on experience through Cooperative Education! Co-op is a fantastic opportunity for HDSB students to earn secondary school credits while completing a work experience placement in the community. It's available in all HDSB secondary schools and is valuable for all post-secondary destinations including: apprenticeship, college, community, university or work. Visit the Cooperative Education page on HDSB.ca to learn more about how co-op can benefit students and employers.
